One day two old friends, a filmmaker and a writer, were discussing an upcoming trip. Having traveled extensively around the much of the world both together and separately, they knew personally that creative people see the world from a different perspective. And they travel with a different purpose.
Creative people want to stop and take pictures. They want to know the dark secrets of a castle and step over the do-not-pass-this-line red velvet rope. They would rather spend time painting the open air market than shopping there.
So, as usual, the two friends lamented the lack of a travel company that understood their needs. Then it hit them. And Ambling Tours was born.
